The May edition of the Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council’s newsletter has gone to print.

The Kowanyama News is a round up of the recent events and important information for the local Indigenous community in remote Far North Queensland.

The Council’s passionate leadership team work closely with Zakazukha to write, design and produce the colourful six-page bi-monthly newsletter for the community.

In this month’s Kowanyma news we featured the Council’s reporting and complaints policy, a new flooding and drainage study for Kowanyama to assist with planning and future development, Council’s current infrastructure projects, ANZAC Day commemorations and QLD Youth Week activities and an arts project collaboration between the Cape and Cook Shire Councils.
