The development application for this 152 residential lot subdivision in one of the last central and elevated locations on the Gold Coast has been given the green light by Council. Located on Tolga Road in Bonogin, Sanctuary Rise will provide home sites with panoramic hinterland views, a community park and a 21.5 hectare environmental and conservation zone. The $134 million, 34-hectare project is a joint venture between well-known and respected developers Geoff McWilliam’s GDM Property and James Douglas’s Douglas Development Corporation.
The project has been purposely designed to take full advantage of its location to create a well-planned residential community that benefits from a variety of lot sizes, open space areas, environmental conservation land, and upgraded infrastructure. The development has easy connectivity to the Pacific Motorway for access to Brisbane and the Tweed Coast and is within five kilometres to the Robina Town Centre and a range of quality schools. A key feature will be the environmental and conservation zone covering over 60 per cent of the site including a series of recreational walking paths, retained vegetation corridors and fauna-friendly fencing to support wildlife movement.
