Zakazukha recently helped cast a spotlight on Odyssey's latest venture, 'Wazza's Shed' a workshop space where Odyssey residents can flex their constructive muscles, tinker and socialise. Recognising that being in your senior years doesn't curb the need and enjoyment of spending time in the tool shed, this space helps encourage seniors to continue their hobbies, which is an ideal way to remain mentally productive. With help from Odyssey resident and former engineer Warren Wellington, whom the space is named after, the project is now complete and helps create a sense of normalcy. The story was picked up by Channels 9 and 7 Gold Coast News, who came along and got some great footage of Odyssey residents enjoying the space.
